2.1 Authentication and User Account:

We collect and use your personal information to authenticate your identity and create and maintain your MeetIRL user account. This information is necessary to provide you with access to our services and ensure the security of your account.

2.2 Communication:

We may use your email address to communicate with you regarding your account, updates, and important announcements related to MeetIRL. You may also receive notifications and messages from other MeetIRL users within the App.

2.3 Username and Connection with Other Users:

Your unique username is used to identify you within the MeetIRL community and to connect you with other users. Your username may be visible to other MeetIRL users during interactions within the App.

2.4 Group Creation and Event Privacy:

MeetIRL allows you to create groups from your connected friends and organize private events. Please note that the members of your groups and the individuals invited to titled events may not be encrypted or anonymized. The privacy settings and visibility of these groups and events depend on your preferences and the choices you make within the App.

Information Security

3.1 Encryption:

MeetIRL employs industry-standard encryption measures to protect your personal information. All data transmitted between your device and our servers is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL/TLS).

3.2 End-to-End Encryption:

We implement end-to-end encryption for event details, ensuring that only you and your selected connections have access to the specific time, duration, and location address you share. MeetIRL does not store or have access to this sensitive information. We may not encrypt event titles, country and city of events created.

Information Sharing and Disclosure

4.1 Service Providers:

We may engage trusted third-party service providers to perform functions on our behalf, such as hosting the App, managing databases, and processing payments. These service providers may have access to your personal information only to the extent necessary to perform their functions and are obligated to maintain the confidentiality and security of your information.

Data Retention
